How I Got Here

After graduating college, I devoted more time to reading for pleasure, and I quickly turned into an avid reader. After finding an abundance of errors in published books I realized I had a knack for editing. I taught myself about editing and the publishing industry and took a few certificate courses, which furthered my knowledge and confirmed that editing was something I could excel at. Bringing my passion for reading and my overly attentive eye for detail together has led me to an exciting new career.

Why Editing

I love the journey of working from a rough draft to that final published piece. There’s something rewarding in seeing a story take shape and all the tiny nuances that go along with helping an author bring their vision to life. Books bring me joy, and being able to participate in the process of creating one is especially fulfilling.
